German Rules for Quarantine for Students Returning from Other countries

The German authorities had made strict rules for students coming from other countries. Students have to be prepared for several rules including self isolation for 14 days, compulsory test once they reach Airports and also Full quarantine until the test results are out. (Mostly you receive a test result in 48 hours in your post)

The German Foreign affairs ministry is surely making strict rules so that the foreigners coming from abroad are not becoming a risk to the citizens. Different universities had also placed their own rules as an add on for safety.

Students who are coming to Germany must also inform the nearest health authority about their quarantine and also their present status. The requirements are decided by the state and any violation or misconduct is punishable by the law with fine or Imprisonment.

If the students can bring a Covid test from their state they can get small exemptions in quarantine but it depends on the state. The covid test must have been taken maximum 48 hours before entry and also it must be done from a member state or country or at a place which had the same quality standard as Germany or else it will not be valid.

Students entering Germany who did not take a test from their home country should compulsory take the test as soon as they enter Germany or near the place of accommodation.

The test result must be shown to the authority upon request so keep it with you for at least 14 days.
